Meet the team
Eleni Petrou
She is a graduate of the Cyprus Hairdressing School and has been working at HAIRSPRAY since 2011 as Senior Stylist. She has attended various educational seminars regarding hair colouring techniques and keeps up with the continuing developments of the hair industry. By doing so, she continues to develop and evolve on her path to success. One of these seminars is HAIR ETC Course/Styling Long Hair. Meanwhile she is studying towards a Reflexology diploma at Intercollege.
Her philosophy is: “Only those who risk going too far will find out how far one can truly go.”
Michael Giannikou
He has graduated from Intercollege Larnaca, achieving an Εdexel diploma in the hairdressing sector as well as an Ιtech of England diploma from the aesthetic makeup beauty department. He follows, and is up to date with educational seminars relating hair colour techniques and other various developments concerning hairdressing. He has cooperated with other salons in the past and as of 2015 now works exclusively at HAIRSPRAY as a Senior Stylist and Salon Manager at Metropolis Mall Larnaca.
His philosophy is: “In order to be irreplaceable you must always be different.”
Eleni Sophocleous
She has graduated from TONI&GUY the School of Hairdressing in 2016. She later on worked with other hair salons of the same chain and has participated in specialised seminars for colour in the LOREAL academy. Her drive to evolve had led her at HAIRSPRAY, where she was given the opportunity to work and develop through a series of seminars in which she has expertise in cutting and hairstyling.
Her pholosophy is: “take the risk or lose the chance.”
Irini Socratous
She joined the HAIRSPRAY team in 2019 as an assistant hairstylist. She is a recent graduate from CDA College, and has participated in seminars for colour and hairstyling, COLOUR & TREATMENT of Helen Seward in Milan. Upon finishing her studies she is now a part of our team as a Stylist. Her career in the world of hairdressing has just began, with a goal to continuously evolve.
Her philosophy is: “Everyone has a calling, if you follow the direction of your calling you will surprise yourself, you will astonish yourself – you will make a difference in your world.”
Ilias Anastasi
He is a TONI&GUY Academy of Larnaca graduate. An ambitious individual who aspires to learn and evolve in colors. He is part of HAIRSPRAY Metropolis team as a Stylist.
His philosophy is: “I never dreamed about success. I worked for it.”
Sotia Polykarpou
She has graduated from Tina Kay Hair and Beauty Training Center at Larnaca in 2020. She has also completed Level 3 Diploma Advanced Hairdressing (ITEC) and is now part of HAIRSPRAY Metropolis team as a Stylist.
Her philosphy is: “life moves on quickly, if you keep looking back you lose sight of the good things in front of you.”
Chrystalla Kakkoufa
She is part of HAIRSPRAY Metropolis as a Stylist. She has graduated from TONI&GUY Academy Larnaca in 2021 and has previously worked in another hair salon evolving her skills. A creative person with a positive attitude, who would like to be challenged in every aspect of hairdressing.
Her philosophy is: “talent is to succeed a goal that no one else could. Geniusness is to achieve a goal that no one else thought of.”
Andreas Ellinas
He is a CDA College graduate and is working at HAIRSPRAY Metropolis as an assistant hairstylist. He has participated in Sakis Giannoula seminar in evening stylings in 2021. He has taken part in various hairstyling competitions such as, HAIR & BEAUTY EXHIBITION (Extra Ordinary Fantasy Styling) in 2017, #CedefopPhotoAward in 2019 and was awarded first place in the CDA College competition “Styling Seasons – Changes” in 2021. Also, he has collaborated with Alexander College in 2021 in the photoshoot “2233 – The evolution of fashion” as a stylist.
His philosophy is: “being your true self is not a matter of searching but a matter of building.”
Kyriaki Theofanous
She is currently studying at CDA College Larnaca and is part of the HAIRSPRAY Metropolis team as an assistant hairstylist. She was also awarded second place in the CDA College competition “Styling Seasons – Changes” in 2021. A focused and goal oriented individual who would like to evolve in the world of hairdressing, as she is especially interested in evening stylings.
Her philosophy is: “unlike words, silence never tricks.”
